Solar Homes and Communities Plan (SHCP)

 

The Solar Homes and Communities Plan was discontinued on 9thJune 2009. It has been replaced by the Solar Credits Scheme (SCS). Any rebate application forms that were received by the government before the cut-off date have been accepted and will be processed. The government expects all approvals to be given by the end of September 2009.

If you have received pre-approval of your $8,000 SHCP rebate, you must have your solar power system installed within 9 months of receiving your rebate.
