REBATES
Residential Rebate
The Australian Government currently offers a rebate for those installing a solar power system at their primary place of residence.
Up to $8,000 is available to offset the price of the system as an incentive to invest in solar energy. The government rebate is only available to people whose combined spousal income is less than $100,000 per annum, who have not claimed the rebate previously, and finally, when installed by a BCSE accredited installer. All Green Solar Group installers are accredited by BCSE.
For homes that have a solar hot water system and want to add a solar power system for the first time, this rebate is still available.
Before the rebate is awarded, the homeowner will need to apply to the government for pre-approval. Green Solar Group will assist with this process.
